final are being played on 2nd/3rd October Stevie no qualifying dates have been set as the original date has been put back due to lack of interest? our league players have until the 22nd of August to enter however we have 80places to fill only with i think 52 already paid so once the 80 places are full we can set a qualifying date sooner if that suits everyone i will keep all paid players posted |

Tammy, why is this limited to 80 entrants and why does no-one from Ayr, Doon valley and Kilmarnock know nothing about it. |

You suprise me with your naivety Scot with all our problems CAPL players seem to have paying entry fee's for every tournament thats going? Firstly i madi decision to make it a limited 80 as i thought it would make players enter quickly and stop the last minute surge that always seems to happen and i was rite, players have came and paid there cash therefor its organised without much fuss? now with a few places still left its only the stragglers left who to my mind dont care about the event as they have not bothered the lazy asses to enter! Finally why would any other League know or even bother about our qualifier?? Its got nothing to do with them? They're entries and qualifying dates will almost certainly be on different days although if they leave it any later they just wont be as organised

I think Graeme put both our names in and paid it, could you put a list of the names that have entered and paid, maybe easier to update and gives the players a look at the competition, when is the next Ayrshire meeting? also there was talk about an Ayrshire 9 man team any updates on that.

ayrshire 9 man team was a good wee competition in its day, remember going down and playing teams from ayr and saltcoats league when it was on. would be a good competition to get going again. who,s the defending champions by the way, was last played about 12/13 years ago i think |

WHY ARE YOU COLLECTING THE ENTRY FEES WHEN IT WAS CLEARLY STATED AT THE AGM ANY MONIES FOR COMPS, CUPS, SUPERLEAGUE, ETC GO DIRECTLY THROUGH THE TEAM CAPTAINS.
AS FOR OUR QUALIFIERS, THESE CANNOT BE HELD UNTIL ALL OTHER AREAS HAVE GOT ALL THEIR ENTRIES IN, AND ONLY THEN WE WILL KNOW HOW MANY QUALIFIERS THIS AREA WILL HAVE ON A PRO RATA BASIS.

Lets backtrack a little shall we! I was asked by a member of doon valley League who are holding the finals to organise our qualifiers this was before our League season finished as the original date was July i took the interested players entry fee's and got a grand total of 11 players now i have asked players to pay there money asap as we have a greater chance of more participating?? However you Scot dont see the benefit of my actions ?? I do though as we have 54 paid players till now! You are wrong when you say the meeting agreed towait till after the 1st meeting on august 17 what i did say was that i was prepared to wait till a week after this meeting to get final numbers? I am still gonna do this but to be truthful i dont believe our captains will push this comp too much as its another payment to another comp remember Scot we are at this meeting looking for £10 off every League player to participate in our League this year and we simply cant get cash off players in time EVERY TIME this is our League downfall at every turn???? Do you still not see what i'm trying todo Scot? again you dont like things getting done any way bar your way ? I'm gonna say one last thing! Our League players have let themselves down by not paying things upfront for years andyears and if we follow your lead the same players will continue to do so i hope they finally learn there lesson and maybe just maybe if people miss out on big events they will learn that Pool will not wait for them |

I SEE WHAT YOUR TRYING TO DO, BUT YOU HEARD WHAT WAS SAID AT THE MEETING, EVEN REGARDING COMMITTEE MEMBERS COLLECTING IN THE MONEY, THIS WAS A NO, NO. YOU COULD HAVE ASKED FOR MONIES TO BE PAID AT THE MEETING ON THE 17TH FOR PLAYERS WHO WANTED IN THIS. BUT EXTEND IT ANOTHER 2 WEEKS FOR THE NEW PLAYERS/TEAMS COMING INTO THE LEAGUE THIS SEASON AND ALSO FOR THE PLAYERS WHO DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET. LAST YEAR WE HAD OVER 100 ENTRIES SO I THINK WE WOULD BE SELLING OURSELVES SHORT WITH 80. |

I think i see your point Scot so what i have done today isstart returning all entry fee's to all who entered by the end of the weekend it'll be done and that'll leave you to run after everyone who wishes to enter? Oh by the way if no committee members have taken in any monies from anyone can you explain why i had to pay 36 quid to superLeague when only a deposit was actually paid to the SPA? Where is the remainder of thiscash? Cos only a total of 600 was paid with over 1000 pound in entries given in atthe meeting? sorry if this is a pettystatement but just wanted you to understand how stupid some of your recent posts have looked to others ps i truely hope you get a great respons to this tournament cos i wash my hands of it |
